Getting Started with Jarvis Link
Jarvis Link is designed to streamline the process of setting up networked lighting controls. This guide will walk you through the basic steps needed to get your first project up and running using the Jarvis Link system.
Step 1: Register and Install the App
Begin by registering for Jarvis Link and downloading the app on your Apple device. Ensure that all lighting fixtures are fully powered and properly installed before proceeding.
Step 2: Create a New Project
Once in the app, start by creating a new project. This will be the overarching structure where all your lighting control activities will be organized.
Step 3: Define Areas Within Your Project
Within your project, define specific areas. These areas can represent different parts of the facility where the lighting controls will be applied. Including a map of the project will help you visualize the layout and maintain order as you set up your lighting zones.
Step 4: Add Zones and Select Profiles
Next, add a zone within each defined area. Zones allow you to group fixtures that will share the same lighting behavior. Choose a predefined profile that suits your needs, such as the standard occupancy sensing profile. Once the zone is created, you can position it on the map according to your project’s layout.
Step 5: Assign Fixtures to Zones
Now, it’s time to add fixtures to the zones. Click into the zone and select the plus icon to view all available fixtures. When you tap on a fixture, the light will blink, confirming its selection. Add the fixture to the zone, and it will be ready for further adjustments.
Step 6: Adjust Settings and Finalize Setup
With the fixtures added, you can now fine-tune the settings to match your project’s requirements. Adjust lighting behaviors, such as brightness and dimming, to suit the specific needs of each zone.
